Operations And Service Manager

Requirements:Trade tested and qualified in HVAC and Refrigeration.Experienced in daily Service related Refrigeration issues and Project builds.15- 20 years industry experience "you know refrigeration inside out".5-10 years in a similar position managing Refrigeration Technicians.People management, Team building ,Project and Service delivery is a priority with appropriate referencesBuild and manage our Refrigeration technicians Build teams & Area controllers(2) & SparesNo-nonsense approach.Manage leave.Responsibilities:1. Schedule daily work allocation of both technicians and build teamsa. Maintenance SLAsb. Daily call outsc. Project Resource allocation & schedulingd. Workshop repairse. Follow ons f. Spares "on time & right"2. Daily routine:a. 7:30 Meeting & job allocation with technicians at 7:30b. Check fitness and ready to go eg. dress code, van stock etcc. Manage our 2 Controllers allocating jobs and call outs to technicians (daily, hourly etc)- right guy for the right jobd. Check outstanding issues from previous daye. Repair quote detail follow up with officef. Technicians Out the gate by 8:00g. Act as "come to guy", leader, coach, by phone/on site for challenging issuesh. Spot checks on site (5-10) per week (technicians & customer interaction )3. Weekly routinea. Standby schedule (daily/weekends/holidays)b. Tool & vehicle inspectionc. Van stock4. Six Monthlya. Conduct bi-annual performance reviews on techniciansb. Determine development areas for skills improvement
