Who's who in the tech space The position reports to the Engineering Manager (Fulfillment Operations)
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Root cause analysis of operational issues.Able to independently troubleshoot issues within the team's system.Prepare weekly and monthly operations reports as a result of collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.Identify cost-saving areas and system inefficiencies.Identify and action trends within the system.Work with all levels within the business unit to resolve issues.Prepare end-users to utilise the system by conducting training.Provides reference for end-users by contributing to documentationMaintains systems by researching and resolving problems, and maintaining system integrity.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying abreast with the latest industry trends, and reviewing professional publications.Participates in the communication plans and strategies that drive acceptance, speed of adoption, and a platform for expansion into new ideas.Participate in long-term and short-term data analysis with a focus on increasing productivity, lowering fixed and variable costs, and improving customer experience.Measure and report results regularly and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.Assists more senior operational analysts with investigationsMentors more junior operational analystsParticipates in the hiring of other operational analystsSuccessfully contributed to the design, development, and deployment of operational aspects of various software projectsAble to read and debug code written in more than one programming language advantageous Attributes required: Customer-centricProactiveEnergeticDirect, solutions and results-orientedInnovative problem solverCurious thinker who understands technical topics Influencer that constantly grow the quality of their engineering team, through technical initiativeGood written and verbal communication skillsOrganisational and business savvy Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related field and a minimum of 3 years of operational support experience in a software/technology environment is required.If you do not have a bachelor's degree or an advanced diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related field, an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 5 years of operational support experience in a software technology environment.
Good database knowledge, including the ability to write and optimise complex queries.SQL Scripting experience.
