Job SpecificationCoordinate all NPD trials, recipes, research, formulations, ingredients and communication thereof to the organisation on all assigned projectsThis is preliminarily but not limited to DC1 projectsISO, HACCP, GMPFood TechnologyWorld-class manufacturing and quality practices and models Specific product and process knowledgeProject Management Principles and PracticesPrinciples of effective communication, Business Administration and ManagementPrinciples and Practices of Customer and Personal Service Principles and PracticesAdministrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminologyQC skills and use of apparatus and machineryInformation Gathering Processing Information ManagementLegislation, Policies, procedures and standardsCommunicate all project information and maintain the NPD Project site according to standardsTrial dairy, fruit and flavours to assist NPD with new product trendsCarry out all administrative duties as required by the NPD Manager or other role playersUpload of information on Pathfinder and CSBEnsure effective participation in MDWT initiative and team meetingsRecipes are developed to comply with client brief fullyTeam are managed and guided to ensure Kitchen samples are made as per the recipe for the new product briefAttend NPD and supplier meetingsAttend customer meetings and tastingSchedule and conduct production trial runs for new products with the relevant production plantEvaluate all factory trial using a trained taste panelProvide consistent feedback and highlight problems in all communicationsEnsure compliance to health and safety ProceduresCoordinate, communicate all project information and maintain the NPD Project site according to standardsResearch trends in dairy, fruit and flavours to assist NPDAll artwork complies with legislationIdentifies risks and takes calculated risksMinimum RequirementsStudying towards a degree in B.Sc Chemistry or Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Food Science or +BTech: Food Technology / B.
