We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Officer to join our Business Development team. This role is integral to our growth strategy, focusing on winning profitable business and promoting our brand to a targeted audience.Key Responsibilities:Sales Execution: Conduct sales in line with the company's Code of Business Conduct, ensuring all interactions are professional and aligned with company values.Lead Conversion: Self-source and convert business leads into trading accounts, maintaining accurate records of interactions in our CRM database.Brand Promotion: Clearly communicate the company's Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) to both internal teams and external clients.Client Relationships: Establish and develop strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored business solutions.Business Acumen: Demonstrate a solid understanding of margins and business dynamics, assisting the Head of Business Development in achieving company goals.Internal Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Quality Assurance, Finance, and Operations, to ensure smooth business processes and client satisfaction.Market Intelligence: Report on competitor and client activities, providing insights to the Head of Business Development for strategic planning.Required Skills and Experience:Education: Minimum Grade 12.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a sales-related role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.Technical Skills: High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Communication: Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.Attributes: The ideal candidate will possess stamina and resilience, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
