This role will provide critical mental health support and services to our clients in the local community. You will be an integral part of our commitment to improving the wellbeing and empowering the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing personalised care plans for clientsProviding individual and group counselling and therapy sessions to support clients' mental health and psychosocial needsCollaborating with other health professionals and community organisations to ensure holistic, wrap-around careAdvocating for clients' rights and connecting them with relevant services and resourcesMaintaining detailed case notes and client records in line with professional standardsContributing to the continuous improvement of our mental health service deliveryWhat we're looking for Demonstrated experience in mental health assessment, case management and therapeutic interventionStrong understanding of the unique mental health needs and cultural considerations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoplesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clientsHighly organised with strong time management and documentation skillsPassionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our clients and the local communityRequirements Ability to obtain a satisfactory "Working with Children Clearance" (Ochre Card) upon commencementSatisfactory criminal history check and no history of disqualification from employment by a legal practiceAbility to travel to remote communities to attend bush courts if required.Apply now to join our dedicated team and make a positive impact!
