Mechatronic Engineer

The specialist will be responsible for all quality improvement projects on the plant. Introduction of reliability lab and extensive involvement in automation projects (Qlive), roll out of best practices within the plant. Duties:Reliability Lab: Introduce/maintain component reliability lab on siteCreate & prepare layout of reliability labDevelop test method & prepare equipment for testingCreate methodology for testing components in line with HQ Automation Projects: Quality Improvement Automation projectsDevelop Turnkey solution for quality control gates to be introduced to eliminate human error and improve safety with mechatronic background. Quality Related projectsIQC: SAP QM Introduction & automate control pointsMetrology: SAP calibration Measuring Arm Introduction/Maintain to Metrology:Create long term plan for measuring arm improvement in measuring (3D scans etc) GO No Go gaugesChecking fixture for every pressed part according to the ISIR Master sample to be created and used by the press operator to reduce deviation from the approved part. The employee is not limited to only perform the tasks listed, additional task will be assigned by the Line manager that will need to be attended to at request based on priority.Minimum requirements:Grade 12.BSc Degree/B Tech in Mechanical/ Mechatronic Engineering.Automation Background a must.Creating Automated solution advantageous.Advanced Communication, project management skills a must.Understanding of Technical Drawings, Tolerances and Clearances.Basic Ability to use CAD software.Manufacturing Industry experience.QMS Experience Advantageous.Ability to carry out statistical Analysis and problem solving, as well as technical problem solving. Computer Literacy:Microsoft Word & Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & SAP
