Mechanical Design Engineer

Internationally renowned company who manufactures for the automotive/aerospace industry is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. Your role includes designing & detailing various elements, parts and components e.g.:  GRP components, joinery components, custom stainless-steel components, and other hardware, etc. Furthermore, your responsibility will include tooling design, jig design, manufacturing process design, weight and cost optimisation, design for assembly, and BOM creation. Requirements:Minimum: National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant Designing field)3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentThorough understanding of manufacturing processesWorking knowledge of SolidWorksKnowledge of AutoCADProficient in Excel Kindly note that if you have not received any feedback 2 weeks after your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
