Manufacturing Storeman

The position is based in Cape Town on the West Coast, and applicants are required to live within a commutable distance. A leading manufacturing company is in search of a Storeman for their factory in the Western Cape.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry, particularly as a Technical/Engineering Storeman, with an understanding of Exports and Imports.Educational Requirements:- A relevant degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Warehouse Management.- A Diploma in Management is considered beneficial.Experience Requirements:- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.- At least 3 years of experience in a sizable FMCG Warehouse setting.- At least 2 years of experience with SAP ERP systems or equivalent.- Familiarity with customs clearance and a fundamental comprehension of the customs procedures for imports and exports.Responsibilities:- Handling receiving, inventory management, and dispatching.- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness.- Overseeing warehouse upkeep.- Managing document control.
