Management Accountant

Job & Company Description:We are currently seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join a reputable and growing manufacturing company based in Johannesburg East. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and supporting management in decision-making processes. This role is ideal for a candidate currently busy with their CIMA qualification and at Management Level in their studies. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous. Duties: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting in line with company standards.Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various departments to create and maintain accurate financial projections.Analyse and control costs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring cost-effectiveness across the organisation.Conduct detailed variance analysis and explain the reasons for discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures, providing recommendations for corrective actions.Provide key financial insights to the management team to support strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications: Relevant BCom degreeCIMA Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
