Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:General Maintenance and repairs to all buildingsUpkeep repairs of all public areasGeneral maintenance on electrical, plumbing, appliances and tools and equipmentPlan, propose, manage all projects as and when required including collaboration with outside contractorsEnsure quality control of maintenance and projectsPrepare and submit annual and ad hoc budgets for operations and projectsNegotiate favorable wholesale prices with suppliersFleet management of company vehiclesEnsure effective staff management within the guidelines of the company policies and legislative requirementsWeekly and Monthly reportsControl and manage stock levels and reportsGeneral overseeing and keeping of gardens and gardening teamPlanning and maintaining seasonal gardening projects and plansCandidate Requirements:Minimum of matricAt least 5 - 10 years experience within the hospitality industryStrong Leadership, Administration, Project Management and General Building Maintenance skillsMicrosoft Office (Excel & Stock System) - especially good with ExcelProject Management skills are essentialValid RSA ID is requiredValid Drivers License and PDP is requiredAttention to detailReliability and adaptabilityExceptional report writing skillsLive-in positionMedical aid and provident fund contributions
