Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring that necessary parts are available when needed.
Coordinate with suppliers to source quality parts at competitive prices.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory usage.
Prepare regular reports for management on equipment status and maintenance activities.
Opencast Mining Experience: Utilize your experience in opencast mining to address the unique challenges of maintaining equipment in this environment.

Yellow Plant Expertise: Apply your specialized knowledge of yellow plant machinery to optimize the performance and maintenance of this equipment, crucial for our operations.
Requirements: Red Seal qualification in a relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic, Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic).
10-15 years of experience in mining maintenance, with a focus on earthmoving equipment such as excavators, front-end loaders, and other heavy machinery.
Extensive experience in opencast mining and a strong understanding of the unique maintenance needs in this environment.
Proficiency in maintaining yellow plant machinery, with a solid track record of minimizing downtime and extending equipment life.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of maintenance technicians.
