Logistics Manager

A leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, is looking for a logistics professional ready to lead a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Logistics Department, overseeing all deliveries, despatching, and personnel.Plan, organize, and document delivery schedules, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Coordinate delivery schedules with production to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.Manage the entire fleet, including multiple vehicles and third-party transport services.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and road traffic regulations.Maintain accurate records of stock, delivery schedules, and fuel consumption.Conduct fault-finding inspections and oversee weekly and monthly stock takes.Act as a contingency for the Logistics Administrator, fulfilling duties as required.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health and Safety and Production Planning.Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a logistics leadership role.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Pastel Accounting.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards is a plus.
