Legal Contracts AdministratorLocation: Durban, KwaZulu Natal, South AfricaCompany: Multinational Manufacturing CompanyJob Overview:Our client, a leading multinational manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Legal Contracts Administrator to manage the legal contracts database and provide comprehensive support to the department's management team. This role involves ensuring legal, contractual, and administrative processes are executed efficiently across the business.Key Responsibilities:Populate master legal agreements with accurate party and contract details.Review and verify details provided in master legal agreements by various business units.Ensure all company information is correctly represented in legal documents.Compare third-party amendments to agreements against the latest legal versions to identify and address changes.Facilitate necessary contract amendments.Oversee the signing process of all legal agreements and applications, ensuring timely completion.Administer the supplier/vendor credit applications process in collaboration with business units and the Corporate Legal Office.Review submissions for credit applications, and forward final documents to Corporate Legal for assessment of legal terms and conditions.Continuously manage and review the contracts register.Proactively follow up on outstanding signatures and contracts in progress.Administer and update internal company information schedules on a quarterly basis or as changes occur.Maintain and update company and business unit letterheads as needed.Coordinate SharePoint access requirements with business units on a quarterly basis.Keep internal department lease agreement trackers up to date.Maintain both manual and digital filing systems, ensuring proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.Prepare weekly updates on the status of the contract register, highlighting outstanding signatures and contracts nearing expiry or renewal.Compile the quarterly contracts register for inclusion in the board pack.Qualifications:Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field.Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.Skills & Competencies:Strong attention to detail and ability to review legal documents thoroughly.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
