The IIE Varsity College, Durban North Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (independent contractor) for the following module: LEAP6211- Legal Accounting Principles and PracticeKey Performance Areas: LecturingMarkingClassroom managementAttending meetingsCompetencies required: Excellent communication skillsExcellent organisational skillsExcellent time management (meeting dates and deadlines timeously)Minimum Education Requirements: Honours degree in AccountingORHonours degree in one of the business-related fields with accounting; or Financial Management with Accounting or Financial Management to third-year level.A bachelor's degree with Accounting or Financial Management to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA or postgraduate diploma in business or education.Minimum Experience Requirements: Work experience in one or more of the following: Practical work experience relating to the relevant module, Teaching law modules at tertiary level, or Teaching law modules for LEAD (Legal Education and Development).A practicing attorney, advocate, legal advisor, magistrate, or judge or otherwise in the legal profession, commissioner at CCMA, a Bargaining Council (BC).Note: The incumbent's experience will be a guiding factor to be taken into consideration.Working Conditions: This is an Independent Contractor role.Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.Application Response: Due to the high volume of CVs received, please note that personal contact with all applicants may not be feasible.
