The IIE Varsity College Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (part-time) in the Faculty of Humanities for the following module in first semester of 2025:
Design Thinking and Problem-Solving (DTPS5111)
Competencies Required:
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation skills
Assertiveness and dynamism
Understanding of customer service in education
Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively
Minimum Education Requirements:
A Bachelor degree in Digital Design/Media/Graphic Design/Multimedia
Alternatively: A Bachelor degree in one of the Digital Graphic/Media/Multimedia related fields with digital graphics or a similarly related field to the third-year level.
Minimum Experience Required:
Lecturing experience in digital graphics/digital design/multimedia
Previous lecturing experience within a tertiary environment is advantageous.
Work experience as a graphics designer/digital animator/multimedia in a related graphical design environment.
