What will you do?The Learning and Development Consultant will contribute to the high standard of development and growth of Glacier employees by designing, developing and implementing blended learning solutions and applying best-practice methodologies, practices and standards.
Key Outcomes Liaise with different stakeholders to ascertain the training needsDevelop, compile and maintain training manuals, records and support materials as needs ariseCreate, schedule and deliver training programmes focused on adult learning methods and based on employee needsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trainingDevelop training planMake use of online e-learning toolsProvide feedback on learning to managers and employeesProvide technical support and expertiseAdhere to organisational best practices and legislative requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with relevant departmentsProvide efficient and effective coaching to staffSchedule training interventions according to business plan and training needs identifiedCo-ordinate and facilitate technical training courses with regards to product, process & system knowledge and skillsCoordinate the internal bursary process by acting as a liaison between the leadership team and the employeesProvide training on technical legal aspects of products and industry-related legal issuesProvide training and preparing internal and external candidates for FAIS regulatory examsConduct Assessment of learners and evaluation instrumentsProvide continuous support through query resolutionComply with regulatory requirementsQualifications and experience 5+ years relevant business experience and product knowledge within a LISP5+ years experience in development of learning material and facilitating training interventionsDegree/Diploma/Higher Certificate in Education or related qualificationKnowledge of legislation i.e. FICA, FAIS, FATCA, OECD and PDD3+ years E-learning development experienceClient FocusCultivates innovationDrives resultsProblem solving and Analysis skillsAttributes Honesty, integrity and respectProactiveProfessional mannerPositive, enthusiastic attitudeWhat will make you successful in this role?Degree or Diploma with 4 to 5 years related experience.
