Launch Engineer

International leader in the automotive/aerospace industry, situated in Cape Town, is looking to employ a Launch Engineer to join the New Product Development team to be involved with the design and launch of new models and ideas.
You will be involved with new product development, improvement on existing models, the prototype manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth roll out of new prototype designs onto production lines, and take responsibility for BOM requirements and changes.
You will also provide technical support to all stakeholders involved: procurement, production, commissioning, warranty department, etc.
 Requirements: Engineering Diploma or Degree â Mechanical 3 yearsâ Designing experience in a Manufacturing environment Proficiency in Solidworks â non negotiable Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel Driverâs license and own transport is essential
