Laboratory Assistant

Minimum Requirements:Matric (Grade 12)Proficient written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors.An minimum educational background of MBO3, with training or certification in quality control or laboratory techniques is preferred.Previous experience working in a quality control laboratory or a similar environment is advantageous.Excellent attention to detail in handling laboratory-specific quality control tasks.A strong commitment to safety and compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:Assist in the setup and preparation of quality control experiments and tests, including organizing materials, maintaining instruments, and ensuring their proper functioning.Record and maintain accurate data and laboratory notes, ensuring proper documentation for quality assurance.Coordinate with various partners and service providers to facilitate day to day operations.Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and work areas to uphold safety and quality standards.Adhere to laboratory protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.Collaborate with other team members to effectively contribute to quality control initiatives and meet production deadlines.Stay updated on current quality control techniques, technologies, and procedures to enhance laboratory efficiency and productivity.
