Key Accounts Sales Specialist - Chromatography Consumables

Minimum requirements for the role:Minimum matric is essential for the role.A BSc.
Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or related qualification is essential for this role.Previous experience having sold laboratory equipment is essential for the role.Previous laboratory experience using chromatography products is preferred.Previous sales experience in the pharma reference standards field is preferred.Previous experience within chromatography field will be an advantage.Must have excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing all key accounts, focussing on pharma reference standards for pharma markets as well as chromatography instruments and consumables within the Gauteng area.Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers.Maintaining sales and services as well as implementing all sales and marketing strategies for a range of products.Conducting equipment demonstrations for customers when required to do so.Attending to and resolving customers enquiries.Researching and driving strategies to develop the market.Meeting with clients to arrange demonstrations and training on equipment.Presenting product related presentations at seminars and exhibitions as required.Meeting monthly and annual sales targets.Identifying areas of growth within the market to identify possible strategies.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
