We are currently seeking a motivated Systems Engineer/Analyst with an active Secret clearance to join our team in King George, VA. This is an On-Site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze tactical data, conduct root cause analysis, and assessing weapon specification requirements
Evaluate data, Computer Program Change Requests (CPCRs), and Trouble Observation Reports (TORs)
Assess program functionality and associated AWS and non-AWS interfaces
Developing and writing analysis reports, criteria, and procedures.
Support element and system-level testing at land-based sites and ships
Work independently with minimal oversight
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Attend various review and status meetings
Support software testing events (land-based and shipboard)
Travel within the continental United States and to ports located outside of CONUS
Follow standard business work hours (7:30 AM - 5 PM), with the exception of travel-related tasks
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's in either Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics; a minimum of six (6) years of related work experience may be substituted in leu of degree
Knowledge and experience in programming languages, troubleshooting and analysis
Development of queries and scripts or shell programming in languages such as SQL, Java, Python, MALAB, Object Oriented C++
Familiar with Trouble Observation Reports (TOR), Computer Program Change Request (CPCR), and analysis tools pertaining to evaluation and assessment
Ability travel within the continental United States and to ports located outside of CONUS
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrate proficiency in databases, queries, and SQL language
Willingness to learn new Test and Evaluation (T&E) methods and analysis tools
Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Familiar with Knowledge of Navy operations / chain of command would be helpful, but not required
Clearance Requirements: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements: Ability to remain stationary 50% of the time, working at a desk or computer terminal.
Occasional movement within the office for communication and accessing resources.
