Junior Sales Executive

Our client, a market leader in the FMCG distribution sector, is looking to hire a vibrant, self-motivated Junior Sales Executive based in the northern suburbs of Durban.The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for managing an existing client base while also developing new business in the retail food and forecourt sectors.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage existing customer baseSource and initiate commercial opportunities with customersDevelop new business opportunitiesEnsure products are merchandised correctlySubmit daily reportsFollow up on ordersManage returnsEnsure customer accounts are paid in timeManage stockDrive sales with both existing and new clientsAttend promotional activitiesMeet required sales targetsMinimum Requirements:Education and Experience:MatricExperience calling on retail food chains and forecourtsFMCG Sales experience essentialDevelop existing clientProspecting for new businessKnowledge and Skills:Strong relationship builderHungry go-getterSalary:Basic R10 - R20k per month (depending on experience) plus company car, fleet card, plus commission.
