We are seeking a motivated and eager Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team and assist in connecting candidates with opportunities across various sectors.
Position Overview:
As a Junior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and matching candidates to meet the specific needs of our clients. This role requires a solid foundation in client-facing roles or sales, combined with strong organisational and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively, manage your own workload, and build effective relationships with both clients and candidates. Your goal is to help our clients secure top-tier talent while advancing your career in recruitment.
Your daily adventures include:
Employ a variety of recruitment methods such as job advertising, social media outreach, and proactive headhunting to attract high-quality candidates.Evaluate resumes and applications to match candidates with suitable positions, ensuring a deep understanding of both client needs and candidate strengths.Source candidates using databases, social media (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter), networking, and referrals.Conduct pre-interview screenings to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with job seekers, providing career advice and guidance to ensure successful placements.Collaborate with clients to understand their staffing needs, provide insights on market conditions, and offer tailored recruitment solutions.Assist in the negotiation of employment terms, finalising agreements between clients and candidates.Track and manage recruitment progress, ensuring timely delivery on hiring targets and reporting on key recruitment metrics.Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
1-3 years of proven work experience in a client-facing or sales role.Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or customer service is advantageous but not required.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused attitude.Experience working in a target-driven environment, with the ability to meet and exceed performance goals.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Confident, proactive, and results-driven, with a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to recruitment software and CRM systems.A strong team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their role.Ability to think strategically about recruitment solutions and talent acquisition.
