Junior Project Planner Location: Botswana, Jwaneng Job Type: 36 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Mining Job Duties: The Junior Project Planner will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of project plans within the mining industry. Duties include assisting with project scheduling, resource allocation, progress tracking, and report generation. The role involves collaborating with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of project planning principles and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience: Prior experience in project planning or related roles within the mining industry is desirable but not essential. Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in project management software. Understanding of mining operations and project lifecycles. Ability to analyse data and generate reports. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on mining projects. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining industry. Working Conditions: This is a full-time contract position located in Gauteng, South Africa. The role may require occasional travel to project sites within the region. The Junior Project Planner will work standard office hours with occasional overtime as project deadlines approach.
