This position reports to the Supply Chain Planning Manager. Your responsibilities will include: Monitor inventory levels and manage the replenishment process for dark stores to ensure continuous product availability.Analyze sales data and inventory reports to forecast needs and adjust inventory levels accordingly.Collaborate with store staff to address any concerns and provide support as the primary contact point.Develop strategies to minimize waste and markdowns, optimizing inventory turnover.Identify potential returns and coordinate with the returns department to process them efficiently.Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements and generate performance reports.Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss inventory issues and develop solutions.Stay informed about market trends and consumer preferences to anticipate demand changes. Attributes required: Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude, self-motivated.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics to make informed decisions.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with store staff, suppliers, and internal teams.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.Organizational Skills: Strong capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, SQL, GBQ.Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.Retail Operations: Knowledge of retail operations, particularly in an e-commerce or dark store context, including sales forecasting and inventory replenishment.
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in inventory management, retail planning, or a similar roleBCom / BTech (Commercial or similar degree)Experienced in working with multiple stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, SQL, GBQ.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills The Environment:
