Junior Corporate Commercial Lawyer - Cape Town

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Corporate Commercial Lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile transactions and to grow within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Drafting and Reviewing: Draft and review a range of corporate and commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, sale of business agreements, and service contracts.Corporate Transactions: Assist with mergers and acquisitions, due diligence processes, and corporate restructurings.Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on complex corporate and commercial matters to support senior lawyers and provide accurate legal advice.Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing practical legal solutions.Compliance and Governance: Advise clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and best practices.Dispute Resolution: Support the dispute resolution team with commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes as required.Qualifications and Skills: LLB degree from a recognised institution; admission as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.1-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.Admission as a conveyancer will be beneficial, but not required.Apply: www.agclegal.co.za
