Our client in Epping is currently on the lookout for an IT Infrastructural Engineer to join their international company in South Africa.In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including maintenance of active directory, database, file servers, root cause analysis and formulating controls with problem prevention.A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE    :           Permanent SECTOR                          :           I.T BASIC SALARY              :           Market Related START DATE                  :           A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 Able to speak Mandarin and Cantonese 5 – 8 years' experience managing medium sized infrastructure projects independently Problem solving skills Good communication skills Apro and Service engine support Provide 3rd line support to the Santa fe Users Provide exceptional customer service to end users Project work for upgrades and new solutions Configure and maintain servers and network devices Provide incident management for major incidents Provide user administration duties Resolving escalated user issues in a timely manner DUTIES: The infrastructure Engineer will primarily provide second and third – line technical support, (with spare capacity on first line) to users on various technical issues and problems related to hardware, software and peripherals.They will also be responsible for responding to documenting and resolving service tickets coming from the global helpdesk system in a timely manner according to SLA The Engineer will have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations with a broad understanding of most IT systems The Engineer will also perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention This position will support multiple platforms including Windows servers, Exchange Email along with Office 365 Maintenance, Database, Web and File servers The maintenance of active directory at the centre of our systems is of primary importance.Configuration of network devices such as rooters and wireless devices along with multifactor authentication on all systems This position requires independent work, sharing work and assisting others with projects, the ability to document project plans and work orders HOURS: Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 16:45 Should you meet all the requirements, apply on our website at www.statusstaffing.com today.Should you not hear back from us within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.We will retain your credentials for future similar roles.
