IT Technician-Durban (King Shaka)-12 Months Contract Providing IT support to staff This position provides IT support services such as documentation, technical analysis, advice, support and problem solving in a timely manner. Responding to calls and emails and keeping records on technical issues on all IT systems related. The duties of the position cover the functional areas of end-user support, operational support and administration. KPA Ensure that all help desk service requests received by the department are logged and processed in the IT Service Desk then dealt with in a timely, prioritized and professional manner. Response time on IT tickets Logged. Unresolved Tickets Monthly Reports on Helpdesk Resolution Satisfaction Maintain & support stability of network infrastructure. Install, configure and support network, PCs, laptops, CCTV, Access control systems peripheral devices including printers and other IT hardware Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365& Antivirus administration & software support Support IP Telephony system Maintenance and expansion of CCTV system Maintain Inventory of IT Department Conduct Daily IT Health checks as well as backup checks Responsible for troubleshooting workstations, networks, software applications, phones, copiers and other technologies. Perform routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
