Supply Chain Platforms Lead
Direct the creation of value through supply chain applications, aligning platforms to promote optimisation, stability, security, and efficiency.
Manage Brambles supply chain technologies and teams, with prior exposure to Blue Yonder and JDA product suites.
Accountable for day-to-day execution of platform services, including development, data governance, platform support, and strategic direction.
Collaborate with the wider TS organization on portfolio demand and delivery performance metrics.
Maintain, incorporate, and provide facilitation of governance methods, standards, and principles across all processes and capabilities relative to supply chain platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and direction by setting clear objectives and priorities.
Constructively partner with functional business leadership and other key stakeholders to shape strategy and develop value-added solutions.
Develop delivery best practices and principles, and a culture of service excellence across Technology Services, Data & Digital, Supply Chain, and the wider organisation.
Advise and provide direction of performance measurement metrics to support operational objectives.
Provide strong technical coaching and influence global technology adoption.
Drive and enable a strong partnership across all platform/product support and development teams.
Maintain and drive vendor/partner relationships at the highest levels.
Act as the single point of contact and escalation point for incidents.
Work collaboratively across platform teams to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Meet Brambles internal governance, policy/process requirements.
Develop an effective organisational structure in place.
Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain a technical proficient team.
Develop and execute an effective risk framework for the supply chain platform.
Successful delivery of initiative milestones on time, within budget, and to agreed success criteria.
Requirements
Extensive experience managing or influencing technical staff, transformation, and/or significant business as usual change projects.
Proven success in supply chain design, strategy, and defining delivery best practices.
Strong experience with manufacture, plant, freight carrier, and logistics business processes.
Experience with cradle to grave support, implementation, and delivery of supply chain applications.
Experience managing SaaS applications and partners, including delivery capacity.
Experience migrating to new and off existing supply chain platforms.
Experience with custom supply chain applications supporting business requirements utilizing cloud native services.
Strong experience leading remote, cross-functional, matrixed teams across multiple continents.
Proven track record of building relationships and thought leadership influencing at senior management/executive-level.
Functional understanding of application financial management, business case development, and annual budget preparation.
Advanced interpersonal communications, with strong executive focused presentational creation and design skills.
Able to lead and manage the establishment of a strategic, operational, and technical decision-making function.
Function as the single point of supply chain platforms contact for all integration governance elements.
Be able to devise, develop and execute an effective supply chain platforms risk and controls framework.
Experience planning, managing, and reporting on the execution of platform sourcing, vendor management, platform upgrades, and critical platforms SLAs and service execution.
Governance of the operational estate, ensuring appropriate change controls, Supply Chain platforms service management processes, and security controls are followed.
Qualifications
Bachelors or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Masters degree preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience.
