Job DescriptionTo identify investment opportunities and grow the Bank's deposit book by either analyzing existing clients' requirements or by acquiring new clients. Additionally, offering customers investment solutions with the aim of ensuring that the bank is the client's primary banking institution.

Key ResponsibilitiesNet interest income growth for the year per budget by preparing and processing interest rate proposals to segments in the group.Drive an increase in the average balance of a specific portfolio of liabilities as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the Business.Establish, align, and manage targets and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency.Manage early redemption to minimize losses to the business and group.Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external parties to support the sales strategy.Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provide proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders.Provide sales support efficiencies and services to ensure retention of clients by ensuring the timely renewal of all existing investments and negotiating special rates for clients.Maximize business portfolio cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.Increase investment products and services to existing commercial customers.Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects/initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress.Liaise with our business clients and their representatives to explore their investment preferences and appetite for risk.Manage and discuss investment fund options to maximize returns on client investments.Self-source new business.Able to hold complex conversations with our business clients and their representatives that fall under high net worth segments.Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives, and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions.
