The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the inventory processes and maintaining stock at optimal levels.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Preparing and planning departmental budgets and controlling costs in the area of responsibility.
Assisting with the monitoring of stock availability, identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Conducting regular meetings with customers to proactively identify and address their concerns.
Identifying ISO issues and Safety Standards.
Supervising and controlling the effective and safe stacking, storage, and securing of inventory.
Conducting stock counts.

Minimum Qualifications:

A relevant tertiary qualification.
Driver's license Code EB (08)

Minimum Experience:

3 Years' experience in supply chain management.
SAP experience (PM module) will be advantageous.

Behavioural Competencies:

Practical skills and common sense to solve problems and deliver accountabilities.
Ability to drill into the detail of issues to determine root cause while considering urgency, importance, risk, and reward factors.
Ability to be target-focused and meet deadlines, is punctual, keeps to schedule, and is reliable in finishing tasks.
Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions, and limit risk of non-compliance for the business.
