We are problem solvers and we will be better with you.We are looking for a Quality Control Intern (temporary)to join our team and support the Colors & Flavors businesses in South Africa.
This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to push boundaries and add value onsite in the office.What you'll do: Operate and maintain UV-VIS spectrophotometer and FTIR and various lab instrumentation using accepted GLP procedures.
Microprocessor controlled instrumentation with computer aided integration system.
Record and measure data, calculate results.
Perform a variety of laboratory wet chemical tests on all raw materials using written methods and procedures.
Use of general laboratory equipment including pipets, laboratory glassware, and analytical balances.
Approve and reject samples, following product guidelines and specifications, record results on every sample analyzed using lab software and databases.
Conduct routine calibration/ verification of laboratory instruments.
What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry is required.
