Job Summary:We are seeking a diligent and motivated Assistant Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist senior technicians in maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and skill development in a dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities:– Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Fibre and breaks as well as installations and civils.– Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.– Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems.– Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.– Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.– Help manage inventory of parts and supplies.– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.– Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.Qualifications:– Matric– Driving licence– Basic understanding of Fibre– Previous experience in a technical support role is preferred.– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.– Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.– Ability to lift and carry tools and work in various physical environments.
