RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that all personnel records are kept up to date and filed accordingly.
Compile and submit Employment Equity Reports, Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports and apply for Discretionary Grants at FP&M Seta.
Maintain and strengthen Labour Relations.
Promote adherence to the company policies and procedures.
Manage and report on Absenteeism.
Maintain and update the Jarrison Access and Time and Attendance System.
Attend and record proceedings of Disciplinary Hearings and Counseling Sessions to ensure that proceedings are fair and correct.
Process Provident Fund Claims i.e. Withdrawals, Retirements, Death and Disability Claims.
Identify, attract and select the right people for the company with the right skills and attitudes.
Monthly update and check authorization of O/T hours from exception reports.
Accurate input of hours into payroll system.
Manage 3rd Party payments (SARS, Garnishees, Union Memberships, Maintenance, Traffic Fines, etc.).
Compile and submit Payroll Journals timeously.
Identify skills gaps & training needs together with heads of departments.
Coordinate/arrange training as identified.
Maintain and update Workplace Skills Plan.
Coordinate Learnership Training between Company, Learner, and Training Provider.
Ensure that the Company complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act requirements.
Coordinate and facilitate the Annual BBBEE Audit.
Submit the Annual ROE.
Perform secretarial functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Tertiary HR qualification.
5 Years Sage VIP experience (Non-negotiable).
Knowledge of Time & Attendance systems (Jarrison Time preferable).
Good interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills within all levels (verbal & written).
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word & Excel).
Sound knowledge of BBBEE Codes of good practice.
Sound knowledge of Labour Legislation.
Proactive.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
REMUNERATION
R25,000 per month (total cost to company).
