Job Description
Red Ember Recruitment is looking for a Human Resources Officer for one of our Clients that will be able to translate business demand into HR service delivery needs and assist other key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of agreed upon support. This role is office based.
Responsibilities:
Ensure onboarding HR packs are ready prior to new staff commencement
HR Onboarding to be conducted during first week
Provide initiatives to enhance onboarding process
Oversee all wellness initiatives implemented by the HR Department
Proactively seek interventions to enhance wellness
Performance Management
Develop coaching capability of leadership team
Actively participate in operational transformation
Facilitate team effectiveness
Ensure compliance with Labour Relations policies
Support employee relations processes
Provide advice on industrial relations matters
Ensure leaver receive their UI19, Certificate of Service and Salary Schedule timeously
Conclude all maternity documentation as and when required
Ensure that Electronic Staff Files are up to date with all details and file original copies
Ensure that policies and procedures are up to date as per current legislation
Confirmation of Employment letters to be drafted as and when requested by staff
Assist with the full end to end recruitment upon advisement of HOP
Requirements
Qualifications:
Matric (Completed)
Bachelor's Degree, National Diploma in HR or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years working experience in Human Resources as an HR Consultant, HR Officer or equivalent.
