HR & PAYROLL ASSISTANT (RETAIL / SUPPLY CHAIN)Location: ETHEKWINI, DURBAN, KWAZULU NATAL(Candidates residing in Verulam, Ballito, Durban Central & Umlazi will be considered)Minimum Essential Qualifications:MatricB. Comm Degree (HR Management / Industrial Psychology) or relevant degree level education. (Essential)Minimum of 1 to 2 years' post qualification experience HR & Payroll Administrative or Assistant role with exposure to various aspects of the HR / Payroll employee lifecycleExperience in delivering HR & Payroll administration, support, and service delivery functionsExperience in completion and submission of timeous and accurate weekly & monthly payroll and leaveExperience in preparing / observing IR & CCMA mattersExperience in recruitment, onboarding, and employment documentsHighly experienced on SAP (Advantageous)Proficient on all MS Office packages with advanced computer literacyMeticulous attention to detailAbility to plan and organise activities, events and projectsEffective HR administration and people management skillsDuties & ResponsibilitiesHR Assistant will be reporting to the Divisional People PartnerKey Performance Areas and Responsibilities:Assisting third parties with "confirmation of employment" queriesCapturing all employment applications on SAP for "check" purposes and feeding back results of the same to the branchesScanning all requisite employment documentation into SAPGenerating all employment contracts and recording the movement thereofGenerating staff letters/certificates when necessary: Appointments, long service, etcArranging psychometric testing for management appointments and the feedback of resultsCapturing annual leave and sick leave on SAP for HO employeesAssisting generally with leave quota queriesProcessing payroll & leaveFormulating management reports: Driver Overtime, Staff Incentives, ProductivityLiaising with payroll: Head Office IncentivesGenerating/sending to branches birthday lists for all employeesHO record keeping: Recruited drivers' tenure, Expat Flight requests, Indemnity Agreements, LearnershipsReceiving/capturing training information on SAP for all employees, including learnerships.Dealing with all training stats related queries, including learnershipsRunning/processing the required training reports on SAPAssists generally with any/all HR tasks when required to do soDesired Experience & Qualification(Candidates residing in Verulam, Ballito, Durban Central & Umlazi will be considered)Minimum Essential Qualifications:MatricB.
