They assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff, while also supporting staff development and wellness programs. Additionally, they handle employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts. The HR Officer administers payroll, leave, and benefits, and is involved in implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures. They also assist with performance management and evaluations, coordinate disciplinary actions when necessary, and support overall HR administration and operations.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in the same or a similar position.Familiarity with all HR-related legislation and amendments (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHSA, COIDA).Experience with Sectoral Determination 6 and 14 is advantageous.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at a minimum of Level 2.Familiar with the VIP Premier Payroll System.Communication: Able to read, write and converse in EnglishComprehensionListening/ProbingComprehensionCognition/Thinking: Problem Solving Creative and Innovative ThinkingInteraction with Others: Influencing OthersTeamworkPersonal Effectiveness: Adaptability and FlexibilityAttention to Detail/QualityEthics and IntegrityTactManagement/Leadership: Coaching and MentoringFiscal AccountabilityStaff ManagementStrategic Vision
