HR Officer ManufacturingDurban North, Durban - Kwa Zulu Natal - South AfricaReporting to the HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting HR functions within the manufacturing sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with labour legislation.This position requires an experienced HR generalist with a strong background in manufacturing and a comprehensive understanding of South African labour laws, including the BCEA and LRA.You will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of HR generalist experience within the manufacturing sector and demonstrate expertise in payroll administration and time management systems. Experience working in a unionized environment is essential. A proactive approach, coupled with a can-do attitude, is essential for managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.You will be responsible for:Managing employee relations, including handling disciplinary and grievance procedures.Representing the company in CCMA cases.Maintaining updated job descriptions and employee records.Leading training initiatives and developing succession plans.Ensuring compliance with BBBEE and employment equity standards.Overseeing the administration of payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Managing intern recruitment, ensuring alignment with BEE requirements and business strategy.This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's HR function, ensuring that it meets both operational and strategic goals while fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.Apply for this Job
