Health & Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures specific to the ceramic manufacturing environment.Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for safety and health.Investigate and report on accidents and incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Collaborate with management to create and maintain safety programs and emergency response plans.Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and industry trends to ensure our practices remain compliant and effective.Qualifications:Bachelors degree or relevant tertiary education in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the manufacturing or ceramics industry.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.*** Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted ***
