Health & Safety Officer - Construction Industry

Responsibilities Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures specific to the construction industry Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks Provide safety training and education to construction site personnel Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend preventive measures Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the construction industry Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for construction sites Conducting of audits and inspections Requirements Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety 3 to 5 years experience as a Health & Safety Officer Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices Experience in writing reports and policies for Health and Safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Relevant certification in health and safety for the construction industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid Driver's License and own transport Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
