URGENT: Health and Safety Officer needed in Cape Town The successful candidate will be responsible for:Designing, implementing and managing effective health and safety protocols, and promoting theseOverseeing and managing health and safety measures and ensuring that risks are addressed at seniormanagement level, where appropriateLeading the company in terms of health and safety practices across all offices Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:National Health and Safety Diploma (SAMTRAC or NEBOSH)3 years' health and safety experience in an office environment AND valid Driver's LicenseComputer literacy, particularly MS Office SuiteIn depth knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related legislationExcellent organisational abilitiesExcellent administrative skillsSystematic, comprehensive and displaying excellent attention to detailCommitment to the principles, policies and programme of action of the companyOutcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientatedWillingness to go the extra mile, which include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and publicholidays where necessaryApplicants must be in possession of a valid driver's license and have access to an insured vehicle for occasional use(If you are not shortlisted within 5 business days)
