Head Of Payroll

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Head of Payroll to join our team at an executive level. As the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations within our organization, leading a team of payroll professionals. Your main duties will include ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with South African labor laws and tax regulations, and handling complex payroll matters. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or related field preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in payroll management, with expertise in South African legislation and regulations.Familiarity with DBit and Payspace payrolls is a plus.Key Responsibilities: Manage Weekly, Biweekly, and Monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Oversee payroll system maintenance and data integrity to generate reports and analytics.Stay up to date with payroll-related legislation and tax regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with various departments to address payroll-related issues and ensure seamless integration of payroll data.Lead and manage the payroll team, providing guidance and support.
