Johannesburg North, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South AfricaWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Finance to manage the finance department and ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all accounting-related requirements within the Group.
Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for managing the finance department and ensuring that monthly management accounts are completed and released timeously.
Additionally, you will be required to assist the COO with any accounting matters that may arise.To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified CA with 2-3 years of post-article experience.
You must also have experience with tax calculation and submitting thereof to SARS, including dividend withholding tax.As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the finance department daily to ensure accurate and timeous reporting.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, the submission of consolidated results, and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for cash management and managing the annual audit. The preparation of the annual financial statements and the management of all insurance policies and renewals.
You will need to be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have the ability to provide management with information as and when required.
