JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Leadership & StrategyProvide vision and strategy for all data engineering projects.Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring project deliverables are met on time.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions into business operations.Data Infrastructure & AnalyticsDrive the organizations migration to the cloudOversee the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring optimal performanceEnsure the robustness and reliability of ETL processesDevelop and optimize real-time data analytics solutionsManage all reporting deliverablesExpertise in Cloud Architecture, particularly with data-related services.Manage our Azure data ecosystem, ensuring best practices are followedUtilize Azure Synapse for advanced analytics and data explorationDrive the roll out of self-service data provision across the organizationData Governance & ComplianceEnsure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant regulations.Promote a culture where data quality is paramount.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand and prioritize data needs.Communicate complex data concepts in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 3 to 5 years experience managing a data team (data engineers, data analysts and BI)Solid experience with BI reportingMust have at least 5 7 years data engineering experience with experience in Database Technologies:Solid experience in RDBMS technologies, including but not limited to, MS SQL, My SQL, Postgres.Solid experience in NoSQL technologies, including but not limited to, MongoDB, Cosmos, Redis.Solid grasp search platforms such as Elasticsearch or ELK.Prior experience working with Handson SQL, Python and RSpecialized knowledge in designing Cloud systems, especially those focused on handling data services:Strong experience in data analytics, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.Proficiency with Azure Synapse and its integration within the data landscape.A solid understanding of how to approach a cloud centric data strategy.Beneficial:Prior experience within a call centre environment is beneficial.Familiarity with other cloud platforms and big data tools is a plus.Certifications in Azure or related technologies a plus.Working hours:Monday to Friday 8.00 to 17.00 or as per department requirementsIf you meet the above criteria AND the following describes you - then contract us ASAP to secure your next career move:Curiosity and an innovative spirityour compass for discoveryA steadfast helm in the stormy seas of high-pressure environmentsLeadership that guides a crew to successA keen mind for solving the unsolvableThe gift of translating complex data into tales that captivateExpert in juggling multiple voyages with grace.
