As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards expected by our discerning guests. You will lead and inspire the kitchen team, ensuring every dish is a masterpiece and that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement innovative, seasonal menus that cater to our guests' preferences and highlight local ingredients.
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained in culinary techniques and standards.
Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and taste, meeting the hotel's high culinary standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to create special events and promotions that enhance the dining experience.
Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
Foster a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement within the kitchen.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management role within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and nutrition.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse kitchen team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
R23,000 - R30,000 CTC, commensurate with experience.
