Head Chef
Our establishment is currently looking for an experienced Head Chef with professional culinary and baking skills. Oversee kitchen operations and be responsible for the food that comes out of the kitchen from concept to execution.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Culinary Certificate or equivalent Diploma in Catering Management would be an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years' experience as Senior Chef or in a similar role
Pastry and baking skills are mandatory
Knowledge of HCCP regulations would be an advantage
Must have knowledge and experience in fine dining
Must have experience in a similar environment

Key Responsibilities:

Establish menus and food specifications as per the hotel requirements
Coordinate and supervise all food production activities within the kitchen
Assist in the management in the strategic day operations of the restaurant
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the restaurant
Monitor food stock and place orders accordingly, including costing and stock taking
Ensure appealing presentation of food
Supervise Senior Chefs as required
Must be versatile
