Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to manage and coordinate daily group bookings for a well-known country estate. The role involves close collaboration with various Tour Operators and flexibility in supporting the Reservations Department with additional tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Group Bookings Management:
Handle and coordinate all aspects of group bookings, ensuring smooth operations.
Rooming Lists:
Accurately load and manage rooming lists, ensuring all details are meticulously maintained.
Rate Allocation:
Assign appropriate rates to group bookings and ensure all financial aspects are correctly handled.
Communication:
Maintain strong and effective communication with various Tour Operators, ensuring seamless booking experiences.
Reservations Support:
Be adaptable in taking on additional responsibilities within the Reservations Department as needed.
After-Hours Standby:
Be available on certain days after hours to manage urgent bookings and inquiries.
Requirements:
Experience:
Previous experience with group bookings in the hospitality industry is essential.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail is crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work 1-2 Saturdays a month and Public Holidays as required.
Quick Learner:
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in reservations systems and basic office software.
