Group Accountant

Remuneration: Market Related with retirement fund and medical aid EE position: Yes Introduction Are you a skilled finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization? We are currently seeking a dedicated Group Accountant to join our team and play a key role in our financial operations. Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for the group. Processing entries and conducting balance sheet reconciliations for entities within the group. Preparation of year-end audit files and supporting the audit process. Reviewing and posting monthly journals to ensure accurate financial records. Managing income tax returns per entity and addressing ad-hoc tax queries. Oversight of Stats SA and annual CIPC return completion and submission. Managing the group's treasury function and bank administration. Preparation and uploading of Budgets. Minimum qualification of a 3-year finance degree. Proven experience in financial reporting and taxation matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with JDE (EnterpriseOne) is preferred. Strong understanding of General Ledger and management account preparation. Familiarity with IFRS and financial control practices. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records. Excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex financial challenges. Demonstrated leadership qualities and strategic thinking capabilities. Ability to work as a proactive team player in a fast-paced environment.
