Job Title: Graduate Trainee Location: Kwazulu, Natal, Durban Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Environmental and Waste Secondary Industry: Scientific and Pharmaceuticals Job Duties: Participate in training programmes to develop knowledge and skills in the environmental and waste management sector Assist in research projects related to scientific and pharmaceutical waste disposal Support senior team members in day-to-day operations and project management tasks Conduct data analysis and prepare reports on environmental impact assessments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable waste management practises Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field Excellent academic record with a strong focus on environmental studies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field Experience: No prior experience required, as this is an entry-level position for recent graduates Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of environmental regulations and waste management practises Proficiency in data analysis and report writing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Management or related field Previous internship or work experience in the environmental or scientific sector Knowledge of sustainable development principles Working Conditions: The role may require occasional travel to project sites and fieldwork.Standard office hours with some flexibility may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
