ROLE PURPOSE The Generator Passive Technician will involve the towing, deploying, refuelling, and recovering of mobile units. Actual and potential generator nonconformities are dealt with and corrective and preventative actions are reported to upper management.
MAIN OUTPUTS The Generator Field Technician's role will involve the towing, deployment, refuelling, and recovery of mobile generator units.Refuelling of static generators.Performing basic power checks and facilitating manual changeover between Eskom and generator supply.Maintaining the general condition and cleanliness of generators, bowsers, and all company assets.Performing quality measures and audits.Overseeing and identifying possible risks that may affect health & safety, workflow, quality, performance, etc., and reporting all identified risks in a timely manner through proper communication.Planning generator repairs.Expected to travel and perform tasks in different regions from time to time.Conducting weekly generator inspections on site. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE The applicant must meet the following requirements:
