General AccountantThe General Accountant will be supporting the existing financial team with the reconciliation of day-to-day transactions and oversight of the month-end cut-off processing for a clean trial balance and accurate management accounts, and offer technical support to the general staff for accurate processing.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accountsReconcile balance sheet accountsProcess the daily cashbookMonthly reconciliation of creditors statements to supporting documentationManagement of the accounts receivables aging and collections on debtorsPreparation of annual budgetsReconcile daily cash upsValidate customer credit applicationsProcess Monthly Salaries & Weekly Wages journalsTimely preparations and submission of PAYE, VAT, and COIDA returnsLiaise with external auditors and consultantsProvide technical support to operational staffOther ad hoc tasksFacilitate stock takeDesired Experience & Qualification3 years experience in a similar role on Pastel; Kerridge K8, SAP experience would be advantageousPackage & RemunerationCTC – R25k-R35k
